Moshe Feiglin a Likud Beitenu candidate, located at number 22, arrived this morning (Tuesday) at the Temple Mount, as on every 19th day of the Jewish month. Having bowed on his face, according to religious requirements at the holy site, Feiglin was arrested by police who were there. Feiglin was led to the police station, where he was released without bail or restrictions.
Feiglin was careful to take actions carried out discreetly as requested, according to the court order that a single cult carried out without provocation - is allowed. The candidate's associates claim that almost no one noticed Feiglin bowing, including Waqaf officials accompanying the group regularly. Only an undercover cop, who accompanied and followed Feiglin, had him arrested.
Feiglin was arrested last Sukkot at the Mount for suspected prayer, and was released by order of the court, with the rejection of the arguments of the police.
Joint Staff Temple movements, sent notice of protest that says: "we protest strongly about the continued harassment of immigrants to the Jews Mountain coming time after time to incredible absurdities. The Joint Staff are calling upon all candidates of all parties that human rights in Israel are precious to their hearts, and ask them not to remain silent in light of the ongoing and systematic breach of rights and obligations to the Jews to the most holy place.
Feiglin said in response to his arrest, that the police adopted an invalid procedure and that the detained person is holding restrictions as a condition of his release, without examining the need for these limitations. Feiglin said that police concession on the requirement to limit his freedom, is an important victory in the struggle for human rights in Israel.
