After the bed • Thousands at the funeral of the Sadigura Rebbe zt"l

Thousands, headed by Hgray"k Steinman and Rebbes of Beit Ruzhin - Boyan, Buhush, Vasloi and Kupishnitz - alongside rabbis and Gedolei Torah, walked through the streets of Bnei Brak after the bed of the senior Rebbe of Beit Ruzhin, Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura zt"l, a member of the Council of Torah Sages of the Agudath Yisrael.


In recent days the Rebbe did not feel well and came down with pneumonia. On Tuesday morning his condition deteriorated, he suffered shortness of breath and lost consciousness. Rescue teams were called to his home a little after 7:30 and performed CPR for over an hour, when at the end he was taken by Mobile Intensive Care Unit to the Maaynei Hayeshua hospital, in Bnei Brak - where he passed away a few minutes before 9:00.


The funeral procession left from the Sadigura Beis Medrash in Shikun 5, through the Ruzhin Yeshiva on Ezra Street, to the cemetery, Nachlas Yitzchak, in Givatayim, where he will be laid to rest at the plot of Rebbes of Beit Ruzhin.
