Rechasim: A four months old baby died in her crib

This morning, at 12:34, the MDA emergency center received a report on a four month old baby - not breathing, on Hacalaniyot Street in Rechasim.

Hatzalah medics, arrived at the scene, found the unconscious baby- and immediately began performing life-saving resuscitation. They were joined by an ICUM team of Magen David Adom.

The medical team performed full CPR; including administering medications, and then the infant was taken to hospital, whilst continuing to carrying out CPR – to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where doctors pronounced her dead.

This is a first daughter to a couple who are residents of the city.

Naftali Rothenberg, Hatzalah Branch Manager at Carmel, told B'Chadrei Charedim: "When I arrived, I started resuscitation on the toddler. In the meantime additional paramedics arrived and a mobile intensive care unit, which evacuated the baby during CPR operations to Rambam Hospital in critical condition. The baby was found unconscious in her crib whilst taking a morning nap."
