Belze are preparing: Bar Mitzvah, a historic journey to the village and the eldest grandson's wedding

Preparations for the historical wedding are underway in Belze: On Tuesday, 12th Sivan תשע"ג the wedding of the chassan Shalom Rokeach, the eldest grandson of the Rebbe of Belze, and the son of HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, will take place.


As is customary in Belze, before a simcha, on Tuesday 6th Iyar the Rebbe will take off to Belze along with thousands of his followers to the town of Belze in Ukraine, to visit the graves of ancestors buried there.


This is a rare event in the Belze court, since the Rebbe barely leave the boundaries of Israel. The last trip was also conducted in Iyar תשס"ז, when they went to the town of Belze in honor of the Bar Mitzvah a historic occasion of joy for the present chassan.

According to the plan, on Tuesday after shacharis in Kiryat Belz in Jerusalem, the Rebbe will leave to the airport, and then take off for the town of Belze in Ukraine where he will pray for the salvation of the general and the individual. B'Chadrei Charedim also learned that there will be a Hachnasas Sefer Torah - written by Belze Hasidim.

Meanwhile, the Belze court are also preparing for the Bar Mitzvah of the grandson of the Rebbe - the chassan Elimelech Natan Neta Rokach, the third grandchild of the boys and fifth of the grandchildren, who will be Bar Mitzvah soon. The Bar Mitzvah will take place on Wednesday 10th Adar at the court of the 'A groise shtub' in Kiryat Belze in Jerusalem.


The exact date of the Bar Mitzvah comes out on Motzei Shabbos, on the same night that Purim falls - and because of that, the Bar Mitzvah will be preceded to the Wednesday before - because Thursday is Taanis Esther.
