Central Election Commission rejected today (Wednesday) the appeal filed by the Otzma Leyisrael party, on the rejection of their campaign, which requires filling duties to the state as a condition for rights.

Judge Elyakim Rubinstein first rejected the campaign, due to racial characteristics, he said. In addition, Rubinstein decided that also outdoor advertising on buses is under his authority - contrary to the Attorney General on the issue.

"Is the demand for rights conditioned to fulfilled obligations - chasing someone because of the color of his skin, or belonging to his race or ethnicity? Then exactly that is what violates the definition of racism, and legitimate demands reveals that not the race dictates, but just the opposite - citizens should have obligations to obtain rights", argued Otzma Leyisrael, in the appeal filed.

As mentioned, the election committee did not accept the allegations, and rejected again the party's campaign.
