Satmar Hasidim in New York – in an Emergency Appeal call for action against participation in elections.
An explanation board has been established for the battle, by Orthodox Judaism in Eretz Yisroel, whose goal is: "to inform and explain to the public the severity of the prohibition of participation in impure elections according to what is explained in the sefarim of the Yoel Moshe by the Divrei Yoel zt"l.
The committee which is operating prior to the elections is holding a fundraising activity and the target is no less than a million dollars.
The committee has made it their target to explain that, despite the 'draft decree' one should not vote for the ultra-Orthodox parties.
The fact is, says the committee that until now, for a full term, the ultra-Orthodox MKs failed to prevent the decree.
