Four Lakewood residents were injured yesterday (Monday) afternoon in a chain accident. The accident occurred on Route 9 which is a major route connecting the city's neighborhoods.
The accident involved three vehicles, one car overturned and landed on its side.
Three car passengers sustained light to moderate injuries, and another passenger in one of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries. Hatzalah volunteers and first aid of Lakewood took the injured to the local hospital.
A Hatzalah volunteer says: "Route 9 has become a dangerous road, and accidents occur every day on the road. The local authorities are aware of the hazard and do not do anything to prevent the accidents."
