Police plan to recommend the filing of charges against a drop out teenager, a resident of Elad, who was involved in violence on Shabbos. The boy is known to the police for his involvement in cases of previous violence.

One gabbai of the Lelov shul, who was a 'central purpose' to the boy, recalls in a conversation with B'Chadrei Charedim what had happened last Shabbos: "In the middle of mincha he entered the shul with his younger brother and it seemed he was looking for someone.

"He came up to my child, aged 6 and caught him with his hand. When I saw that, I went up to him and asked him if something happened? He explained to me that my son spoke badly to his brother and he called him 'fat'. I tried to explain that we can go out to arrange the issue among the children without disturbing the sequence of prayers."

"Instead," the gabbai said, "the teenager began pushing me, and then I realized that he wants violence and he already came heated." The gabbai held his son's hand and stayed with him in the shul, "he spat at me and walked out."

Immediately after davening the teenager stood at the door and asked, "Where is the man who did not want to leave the shul?" According to the gabbai under attack, "he recognized me, grabbed me and tore my suit, gave me kicks, and at this point when avreichim tried to control him - he began punching and even pulled at the beard of one of them.

"We closed the doors of the shul using tables, but he continued to throw rocks through the windows and smashed some of them. The children were traumatized, they panicked. My child hid in the bathroom for half an hour because he feared that boy."

When he realized that this specific shul does not seek violence - the boy tried his luck in the next shul - where he used violence against some avreichim.

Immediately after Shabbos, a group went out toward the police station in Rosh Haayin to press charges against the teenage boy.

The boy was arrested last night, and again, the police intend to indict him.
