Grossman affair: a little before 15:00, while the discussion took place in the court for extension of detention of two suspects arrested in Bnei Brak – on suspicion of involvement in attacks on Nati Grossman, editor of Hapeles, last Friday night near his house in Bayit Vegan in Jerusalem - a third suspect was arrested in Bnei Brak.

At 12:00 were both suspects of attacking Grossman were brought to extend their detention in court in Jerusalem. One suspect's detention was extended until Thursday, and there is advertising prohibition on his name and picture.

The arrest of a second suspect has been extended until tomorrow (Monday).

At around 14:35 the third suspect was arrested, a resident of Bnei Brak, and he will also be brought to extend the detention. The suspect was summoned to the police for questioning this morning at Moriah Jerusalem, where he was informed about his arrest.

The arrest of the first two was carried out after 2:00 at night; one of them was arrested by the detective vehicles at the Yeshiva dormitory in Ponovicz. The second was stopped on the street and is not a yeshiva student.

Suspects - in their 20s - were taken to Jerusalem Moriah Region Police, which is investigating the case on Grossman's attack, where they are wanted for investigation.

The attack occurred on Friday morning, shortly after 1:00 am, when Nati Grossman arrived home to Bayit Vegan Street in Jerusalem, he was attacked by two unknown assailants who appeared orthodox, and was hit in the face and fingers. He was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, with slight injuries. He was released before Shabbos.

Jerusalem Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Police also came to the hospital to collect evidence. According to Grossman, the attack was carried out against journalist rival, but according to the police spokesman, they are investigated a number of other investigative directions.

Lawyers comments:
Yair Koren, representing the main suspect, told B'Chadrei Charedim: "The police requested to extend the arrest of my client by 8 days, yet the court did not accept the request fully since it understood it is excessive. I do not think the police have a lead that connects him to the event; he himself denies the allegations against him."

Attorney Ariel Herman, representing the second suspect, who was suspected that the attackers used his car, told B'Chadrei Charedim: "The court was given the impression that he had no connection to the act and extended his detention by a day only, when the police showed indirect evidence linking him to the case. The judge judged him above suspicion, and gave a day to check the evidence held by the police in depth.
