Satmar chassidim in Williamsburg marched yesterday shocked and grieving after the bed of Mrs. Reiza Mirtza Gutman a"h, who died at the age of 38, as a result of infection.
A week ago she felt ill and went to the doctor for a routine check up. In tests conducted by the doctor a severe infection was discovered in her body, which required immediate hospitalization.
Due to the severity of the situation and after consulting doctors, it was decided to admit her to the hospital in Manhattan. For a whole week the doctors fought for her life, and all of the Satmar Talmud Torah davened for her health, but on Sunday afternoon she returned her soul to its Creator.
She is survived by seven orphans - the youngest only one month old.
The deceased a"h was born 38 years ago to her father, Harav Moshe Teichman, a prominent Satmar chossid in Williamsborg.
The funeral left yesterday at 16:00 pm from the large Satmar Beis Midrash on Rudney street, en route to the cemetery in Kiryat Yoel - where she was buried
