Naftali Bennett, chairman of the Bayit Hayehudi, responded tonight (Motzei Shabbos) at a press conference to criticism of his remarks that he will not drive Jews from their homes.

Program 'Mishal Cham', Channel 2 Bennett said, that "conscience does not allow him to drive the Jews from his home and that he would rather go to jail than to do it" - and sparked a political storm.

Tonight he explained at the press conference: "I have not called for such refusal. Every intelligent viewer who saw the program understood it, but Likud created an image or representation as if I called for disobedience. To earn a quarter of a mandate they hit the IDF's image."

He also attacked the Likud, "the hat is burning on the head of the Likud. Occupation of the Likud, on the eve of elections, on whether soldiers will expel Jews from their homes again says it all - the Likud with the Partnership on the left, could bring us to another disengagement.

"I call on Prime Minister Netanyahu to withdraw his consent to a Palestinian state, or that he intends to uproot settlers from their homes again. Mr. Prime Minister - yes or no. Yes or not. Do you mean to uproot Jews from their homes again?" Bennett asked.

He said, "We will be a large and significant party to prevent a situation that soldiers will again face such inhuman dilemmas."

Yesterday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked Bennett and said that this is a severe form of expression and expressed doubt that he will include in his government those who call for disobedience.

Avodah Party Chairman Yachimovich, also responded: "Naftali Bennett's statement undermines the democratic foundations of the country, anti-state, and undermines the decisions of a democratically elected government by the people.

In an article published on Shabbos on her Facebook page, she wrote: "Our democracy can absorb disobedience from left and right when it is done by individuals who come from the fringe extremists, but when disobedience in the society is mainstream and its leadership, it endangers us as a society, as a people and as a nation.

"If you do not support a political decision is it a black flag? Those who say such an irresponsible statement cannot be a leader. Those who want to be part of the government must withdraw the permit, even with a wink, to refuse orders."

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar attacked Bennett and said: "No public person who serves as a personal example should talk about refusing an order. It's the difference between a state and non-state approach. "Sa'ar also said:" We live in a country that cannot survive a minute without the Israel Defense Forces and the IDF is built on the existence of orders of the political leadership."

"Even in the disengagement plan, which I opposed and voted against it as a Knesset member, I respect the decision of the Democratic majority," said Minister Saar and added: "Even now is patrolling in Hebron, a reservist or a regular that he has views of the left and does not believe our presence there, but he knows that he lives in a democratic state determined by the government and the Knesset and he has to keep its orders."

Hatnua reacted in response to repudiation attempts of Netanyahu Bennett: "It's good that the truth came out before the election and Netanyahu's efforts to conceal it will not help. Refusal of Bennett and his colleagues is that same ideology of Feiglin and his cronies in the Likud. This is the Likud-Beitenu and these were and will be its natural partners; those who do not serve at all, those choosing which command to fill, and will all prevent us order or hope for a better future. Netanyahu, the captive in the arms of his extremist's partners will leave the presidency burden on our children, the silent majority that supports maintaining Jewish and democratic nature of Israel's values and the values of the IDF."
