Exciting: An avrech found $1,919,500,000 at the western wall

The mystery which is stirring Jerusalem: An avrech from the Toldos Aharon chassidus found an envelope last week with checks totaling nearly two billion dollars. Yesterday the envelope was transferred to the police fraud unit in Jerusalem - where they will investigate the case.


In middle of last week the avrech arrived at the Western Wall plaza, where he found an envelope containing 507 checks from banks around the world, including banks from the United States, with the total and exact amount of the checks is: one billion nine hundred and nineteen million five hundred thousand dollars.

The envelope a strange countersign in English: "G-d the Father, G-d the Son and the Holy Spirit will fill the world."


The averch who found the envelope was excited to reveal the story of the envelope to his associates.


That same day, when he came to consult with one of his friends who own a money change, he advised him to immediately involve the police, with the assistance of a lawyer. He explained to him that if he does not, he might get in trouble with the authorities.

Meanwhile, the rumor spread amongst the chassidus. "Absolutely everyone started talking about the story. People wondered whether he could get all the money," said an avrech from the chassidus. "An older man asked if he could contribute a substantial amount to the Toldos Aharon institutions, after he found such a large amount."



Yesterday (Tuesday) the avrech realized that he could not cash the checks, since it is a criminal offense.

He turned to the Aaron Vogel law firm who recommended him to involve the police.


The envelope was transferred to the police fraud investigators unit in Jerusalem.

A source at the office of the Western Wall Rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch told B'Chadrei Charedim "507 checks were found on the specified amount, checks not designated to any open body. We occasionally receive donations from South Africa and from different countries, but most do not have any cover."
