No worries. Yahadut Hatorah always starts at the last minute
Glass room? Check. Two floors for activists? Check. Posters with the eternal letter ג? There will be (G-d willing). Even stickers for children • 35 days till the election: This is how Yahadut Hatorah prepares

The day after the opening of the central election headquarters of Yahadut Hatorah at the impressive office building in Ohr Yehuda, it seems that the place has become desolate. Zero activists, zero activity.
Last night, in a special glass room, party leaders assembled, the seven candidates in the first places, accompanying them, as always, Deputy Mayor of Bnei Brak, Chanoch Zeibert, and Rabbi Yosef Kuperberg, eight committee chairman from the central sector and Moshe Shifman, Yaakov Gutterman and Yitzchak Pindrus from the Lithuanian side (do not ask which one).
Apparently, it was a grand opening of the headquarters. In reality - another dreary discussion and argument in rather loud voices if the ratio list between the parties that make up Yahadut Hatorah will be 40:60 or 50:50. Oh, and one more thing: yes rotation or no rotation.
In the background, as we reported last night, the identity of the advertising agency to accompany the campaign has yet to be decided. Disputes concerning the question are still hovering in space: Do we still need an information headquarters. "Why do we need an information headquarters? Is it not enough that we have an advertising agency?" Some ask. On the other hand, others argue emphatically: "we need it".
So until they decide, the information headquarters are Shifman the Zeibert.
Has an invisible deal been closed?
Tomorrow the 'eight committee' of Agudath Yisrael will convene to discuss the fateful question of the rotation on the sixth and seventh place, which have yet to be born and come into the world. Number one in the party, MK Yaakov Litzman, is the standard 'peacemaker' in the party who cares for the little Belz chassidus. Litzman recently made extraordinary efforts to run to every candle lighting in every court, trying to come and go to and from the courts of Gedolei Yisrael from all circles (Almost).
Does Belze appreciate the efforts? Depends who you ask.
There are those who suspect that behind the scenes an invisible deal has been closed in the L"G faction (Litzman - Gafni): Belze representative sacrifice in exchange for irreversible conclusion for mayor of Bnei Brak. All parties deny, of course. Of course not, lo and behold.
Gossipers can also tell about a difficult conversation which took place between a Belze representative yesterday, MK Yisrael Eichler, and Chanoch Zeibert, a Ger representative, who made an effort and came to the Belze candle lighting in Jerusalem. The two were observed talking for several minutes. There are those who may want to interpret it as "a difficult conversation", but since it was not recorded and listened to, we have no clear answer.
Where is the money going to?
And if you request to know what happens with the elections budget in the absence of activity? Here are the answers heard by different leaders of the party.
First source: "There will be active, do not worry. Yahadut Hatorah always start at the last minute ... There's still time."
Second source: "The budget is around seven million shekels, the advertising agency gets about 150 thousand shekels (as always, there are those who cut coupons), every newspaper (and there are many) gets what he gets, this is more or less, and we have already eaten a million. And what about the other millions? Well, headquarter rental (in another week we will inaugurate the Jerusalem branch in Har Hotzvim and the following week we will inaugurate the Elad branch), including payroll for administrators staffs, employees, coordinators, activists, drivers on election day, the families of workers. In short, there are multiple needs.
Concerning distribution of the riches (how good it is that the state comptroller glances from time to time, otherwise who knows) there is enough time to quarrel over the rotation in question. Seemingly, Belze joined Agudat Yisrael in 2003, the 40:60 agreement was already 'built in'. Still, the vertices of Agudath Yisrael are still trying to look after them, at least outwardly. So everything is still open.
In between a meeting between vertices of Belze with the Netzach Party (Please play boys. There is no chance the Belzer Rebbe will hear such a thing and will not let the Gabbai make a furious phone call. Certainly they have no chance of success of such a move), and, most importantly, the continued determined and justified demand of commander for the movement. For Belze we can only pray that their request is answered. There are those who say that vertices of other chassiduses have already agreed to the move, and for that the Sages said: Blessed is the believer.
But leave the minor problems. Glass room? Check. Two floors? Check. Posters with the eternal letter ג? There will be with G-d's help. Also a lot of stickers for the children. So who said Yahadut Hatorah does not work?
