"Those who do not report to recruitment office as required - will be banned from the Yeshiva"

"Those who do not show up at the recruitment office as required – will be banned from the Yeshiva," This is the instruction given recently at the Beit Matityahu Yeshiva in Bnei Brak.

B'Chadrei Charedim learned that last week one of the Yeshiva students went to the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Baruch Weissbecker, and asked: What do I do when I receive a stabilization of the army order soon?

Rosh Yeshiva replied: "As ordered by Hgray"l Steinman - You must report to the recruitment office."

Meanwhile, Hgr"b Weissbecker updated the boys that the one who will be responsible for recruitment affairs at the Yeshiva is the mashgiach Rabbi Yehoshua Ravitz.


One of the boys told B'Chadrei Charedim: "A lot of the boys were wondering what to do, but Rabbi Ravitz stated clearly that any student who does not stabilize at the recruitment office, as demanded from the army, and as prescribed by the Council of Torah Sages, and for that he will get in trouble with the army – will be banned from the ranks of the Yeshiva."

Meanwhile, during the general shiur given by the Rosh Yeshiva, he said that a student who does not daven shacharis within the Yeshiva, he will order to ban him from the Yeshiva. "It is better to pray in the dormitory," he added, stating that he would send students to check synagogues and shuls in the area, to check whether there are boys that do not comply with the provisions of the Yeshiva.




It should be noted that the directive given by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach at the time, to students of Kol Torah Yeshiva, that a boy who misses shacharis at the Yeshiva, it is better that he daven alone at the Yeshiva rather than to go to a shul outside the Yeshiva.
