Jews of Turkey accused: "You took control of Marmara"

The extreme IHH organization which stood behind the sail of the Marmara published a new libel targeted at the country's small Jewish community.

The organization accuses that five of the Israeli Navy fighters who raided the Marmara were Jewish residents and citizens of Turkey, members of the Jewish community.

Deputy Head of the IHH, Hussein Aroch, said in an interview that the identity of the five Turkish Jewish soldiers is known to the organization and the names will be submitted to the court in Istanbul, which discussed claims against former chief of staff Gabi Ashkenazi and other officers from the General Staff.

The newspaper "Yeni Shapek" which is close to the ruling party of Prime Minister Arduan also reported that five fighters operating on board the Marmara were Jews living in Turkey.

According to the newspaper, Turkish intelligence services MIT managed to find the details of the five are now checking their movements to Turkey and abroad.

The community rejected these claims and argued that this is a new kind of blood libel which endangers the community in the state.
