Establisher of Yesodot-Rabbi Menachem Chaim Lindenbaum z"l

Baruch Dayan Haemes: Yesterday Hrh"ch Menachem Chaim Lindenbaum z"l, founder and establisher of the orthodox settlement, Yesodot, passed away at the ripe old age of 96.

The deceased was born to his father Hrh"ch Yisrael Zvi Lindenbaum z"l, a senior member of Vizhnitz, fearer of heaven, who studied Torah continuously, walked in the ways of charity and kindness.

He would wake up before dawn, and take part in the first shiur by Rabbi of Yesodot, Reb David Benzion Klein zt"l, the deceased would prepare tea and coffee for the participants.

Throughout the day he would sit quietly and learn in the Beis Medrashm, whoever asked received answers in Mishnah and Gemara.

In the last period of his life he became weak and lived with his daughter in Bet Shemesh.

He left a beautiful generation behind him: Four sons and three daughters. One of his sons is the son in law of the Gab"d Eidah Charedi Hgry"t Weiss, one of his son in laws is Reb Benzion Shtenger, household member of the Vizhnitz Rebbe.

The family are sitting shivah at the daughters home-Davidowitz Family, on Nachal Revivim Street in Ramat Bet Shemesh A.
