The gap between the right and the center - left is standing on six mandates only, according to a TNS survey, held earlier this week for the Walla site. According to the survey, if the election were held today the right wing and the ultra-Orthodox bloc will gain only 63 mandates, while the centrist parties, leftist and Arab parties would get together 57 mandates.
Likud, according to the survey, remains the largest party with 38 mandates, Shas still does not take off, but does not go down - and has about 11 mandates. Bayit Hayehudi of Naftali Bennett returns to a one digit number with 9 seats, and at Yahadut Hatorah Yisrael Eichler is left out because the party gains only five.
According to the survey, the party of MK Chaim Amsalem and Otzma Leyisrael by Dr. Michael Ben-Ari do not pass the threshold.
In the center - left considerable damage is seen at the Avodah Party, which gets 17 mandates. Hatnua of Tzipi Livni, with the new acquisition, Amir Peretz, reinforced with 11 seats. So too Yesh Atid by Yair Lapid gets 11.
Kadima of Shaul Mofaz, who in most polls barely passes the threshold, in this survey, is republished with four mandates. Meretz is also impaired by Livni-Peretz – and decreases to 3 mandates.
Among the Arab parties registered stability: Raam 5, Balad and Hadash with three each.
The survey was conducted among 500 respondents, a representative sample of the adult population in Israel. The maximum sampling error is two mandates.
Who mostly can be satisfied with this survey is Tzipi Livni. For, according to this survey, must admit its achievement to date is impressive: 11 mandates to the party that did not exist until two weeks ago. A claim that her accession will increase the lump and won't crush it receives reinforcement from the survey.
