Vizhnitz celebrates: Tonight the Rebbe will take off on his first voyage to the U.S. - the first time since he became Rebbe with the death of his father the 'Yeshuot Moshe' zt"l. Hundreds of followers will accompany the Rebbe. Some will join the flight together with the Rebbe, and others have already beaten him and left last night on other flights.

The main event of the journey will be the Bar Mitzvah of the Rebbe's eldest grandchildren - twins Chaim Meir and Shlomo Zalman – sons of the Rebbe's son in law Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Katz, and grandsons of Av Beit Din Wein.

Tomorrow early morning (Tuesday) the Rebbe will land at the J.F. Kennedy airport in New York. He will then be exported for Shacharis at the Spring Valley yeshiva in Monsey. In the evening the Rebbe will light the fourth candle at the Rose Castle Hall in the Williamsburg neighborhood, in a status which will combine the 'welcome' on the occasion of his arrival.

On Wednesday morning the Rebbe will lay tefillin for his twin grandchildren, and in the evening the Bar Mitzvah will be held in a hall in Williamsburg.

On Friday, Rosh Chodesh Tevet, the Rebbe will be in Borough Park, Brooklyn and daven shacharis in the Ateret Golda hall in the neighborhood. On Shabbos too, the Rebbe will stay in the neighborhood and conduct the davening and tishim there – where thousands are expected to come - in the Great Hall.

Sunday – Zos Chanukah, a Chanukas Habayis will be held for the Yeshuot Moshe Beis Medrash-Vizhnitz Monsey. The Rebbe will determine the doorposts and will hold a special Tish in honor of Zos Chanukka.

At the end of 10th Tevet fast, a 'Royal Dinner' will be held for the Chassidic institutions in Bnei Brak, where the Rebbe is expected to carry most of the load.

The journey will take about a month. Shabbat Parshat Vayigash the Rebbe will spend with family members only, and on Shabbat Vayechi a Shabbos Union will be held for all of Vizhnitz who joined the expedition.

Rebbe is expected to return to his residence in Bnei Brak on Friday morning – Erev Shabbos Parshas Shemos.
