The body of Yossi Alexander, a 19-year-old Yeshiva student of Crown Heights, which mysteriously disappeared two weeks ago, was found at the Forensic Institute in Manhattan.

A Yeshiva boy disappeared on Friday two weeks ago. He was out doing errands in Manhattan and failed to return home.

Family and teams of volunteers searched for him since his disappearance, his pictures have been published in every study house in Brooklyn, and at some point the police joined searches, but all attempts failed.

His family searched for him in every possible place, including with relatives around the world, Chabad houses, and hospitals in New York.

A week after the disappearance volunteers stopped the search and the name of the missing boy was added to the NYPD.

Last Friday director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Manhattan called a global center of Chabad and announced that the body of a young man of 19 is at the Institute for two weeks. Chabad center rushed to tell the family, and the family rushed to the Institute, where they identified their son who had disappeared.

Investigation revealed that the boy was hit and killed in a car accident which occurred in Manhattan on the day he disappeared. There was no identification with the boy, so there was no one to inform.

The funeral left today from the 'Shomrei Hadas' funeral home at 10:00 AM (New York time).
