Large crowds participated at the inauguration of a magnificent building 'Heichal Admor Hazaken' near the grave of the Baal HaTanya.

The building has a Beit Midrash for Torah and prayer, a luxurious mikveh, the largest Hasidic library in Ukraine, study rooms, dining rooms and a spacious kitchen.

Completion of the construction was made possible with the generous donation of Reb Shmuel Rohr, who died a few months ago, and his son Reb Yekutiel Yehuda Rohr.

This status also marked the beginning of Chabad activities in Haditch with the arrival of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Teichman who moved to live there as a permanent envoy to spread Torah and Judaism throughout the region.

The housewarming event took place from noon when the crowds arrived from all over the world, dozens of rabbis and Chabad emissaries, including Vice Chairman of Education Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, and many public figures from Eretz Yisroel including Chairman of Agudath Yisrael in Jerusalem Rabbi Meir Porush.

After short speeches George Rohr was invited to unveil the new building, and Mezuzos were placed at the entrance to the magnificent structure.

After the inauguration of the magnificent structure a festive dinner was held at the events hall which was inaugurated for the first time. During the dinner Rohr acknowledged the generous board members of "Heichal Admore Hazaken," Rabbi David Meyer Bergman, Rabbi Yaakov Halperin and Rabbi Meir Stambler.
