Motorcycle stolen in Kfar Saba and located in Tul Kerem

Last night (Wednesday), the security drama following reports of a Hatzalah motorcycle of a volunteer stolen under his home in Kfar Saba, ended.

Reporting of the theft was transferred to Israeli police who feared the motorcycle may become a device of terrorist forces.

Security forces, along with representatives of Ituran followed the motorcycle which fled from a military checkpoint, reinforcing the concern that the vehicles will be used for terrorist purposes.

Close to midnight the motorcycle came to Tul Kerem. IDF forces went in and returned the bike to Israel.

Zeev Sofer, Director of Transport and Motorcycle Unit in Hatzalah: "This swift action by security forces mobilized along with the executive in "Ituran" helped restore the motorcycle. We are very grateful to all the factors that did above and beyond. We are working to restore the motorcycle to activity immediately after its repair."
