Netzach spokesman: "unofficial sources in the 'Eideh', will support us in the elections"

Although the Knesset of Israel has only 120 members, it seems that according to the multi-Orthodox parties, they believe that they will conquer the Knesset with a storm, Perhaps we'll merit to see our final wish: An orthodox Prime Minister.
Unlike the party, 'Am Shalem', for example, which also declares itself an orthodox party (but not necessarily addressing religious audiences), two new parties – Netzach and 'Power to Influence' – are not showing in the polls. Perhaps that it because they began a relatively late campaign, and perhaps, they do not really stand a chance. Time will tell.
We'll begin with the Netzach party. Retirees of Degel from the Yerusahalmi sector (some would say Ashdod), decided finally, after the ouster of Menachem Carmel from the party - by the Council of Torah Sages – to run separately.
The party has already appointed a spokesperson - Yaakov Friedman, and already managed to issue a press release: "The party will run in the next election of the 19th Knesset with the support of Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach. We are working during the day to finalizing the candidate list, the list will be attractive, a vote which could sweep across the spectrum."
Among the most prominent names in the list are expected to appear the newspaper editors of Hapeles, Yeshayahu Wayne and Nati Grossman. Whose name does not appear, it seems, is Menachem Carmel, still registered in various contexts in the Yahadut Hatorah, and is therefore unable to run.
In a conversation with Friedman, he talks about a "mass mobilization" for the success of the party, who just yesterday finally decided to run for the 19th Knesset.
Amongst the support audiences, he claims, is one of the communities of 'Eideh' in Jerusalem, which has never participated in elections. "There will not be a formal approval from officials to vote, but we have unofficial support from community sources," he says.
In addition, Friedman talks about 'a few small chassidic courts', not yet ready to announce their names, but may do so next week." When I asked him whether he speaks of Slonim, Shuvu Banim, Kretshnif, small Ger groups, etc. - he chooses not to answer. "It is not time to publish."
"We will explain the blow to Hagr"o Yosef"
"The 149 thousand votes Yahadut Hatorah received in the previous elections do not reflect the entire community," he says. "There are many who did not vote and we will respond to them this time. Among others, there are people who do not want to see activists ordering Gedoleoi Yisrael what to do."
• I assume you mean the activists at the 5 Chazon Ish home, but you forget that in the previous elections many did not vote just because of anger on the activists at 10 Chanan Street, which navigated the political system. Those who appointed Menachem Carmel as third representative of Degel are there, despite the will of Hagray"l Steinman.
"I'm not talking about them."
• You mean the modern voters, those who chose not to vote or voted for non Orthodox parties?
"I'm not talking about the 'Tov' movement, but I am definitely speaking of working haredis. Rabbi Auerbach has no problem with working haredis, there are those who see me as modern too, but he also understands that there are those who have to go out to work for a living."
Friedman argues among other things that they will include a Sephardic representative in the list, and will definitely reach out to the Sephardic voters. I remind him that the Yated Ne'eman, while it was under the editing of Nati Grossman, hit again and again the President of the Council of Sages, Hagr"o Yosef, and it is hard to believe that the Sephardic Jews will vote for a movement whose representatives hit this great figure.
"We will conduct a publicity campaigns and explain things very well."
Going all the way
• Yaakov Friedman, with a hand on your heart: Who like you knows how many attacks there were on the house on 5 Chazon Ish around the suspicion that they are those who initiated sending the editor of B'Chadrei Charedim, David Rothenberg – to France, during a visit by Hagray"l there. And here you are, an official spokesman of the Netzach party, composed of the same people attacking personally, standing here and talking to me, a political reporter for the website - how does it go together?
"Since we do not close our eyes, and since we know that despite the ban many Orthodox people have Internet, we think we should bring the party back on this track."
• I do not notice any difference in my view between the parties. On the contrary, they are careful not to be interviewed by Web sites; you are supposedly more 'open'. It does not fit with the image you are trying to create that you 'are people with outlook' and they are the 'new haredim', so to speak.
"The differences between us (between Hagr"sh and Hagray"l, SR) are mainly over the issue of the army recruiting."
• Are you aware of what the MK's of Yahadut Hatorah in the Knesset did for finding a solution to the issue?
Here he begins personal claims that they did not allow Hagr"sh Auerbach to enter the house of Hagray"l Steinman
• And this is a reason to divide the Haredi population and tear it apart? What exactly is the difference between your perspective and the perspective of the other side?
"I do not want to answer, I have an organized answer for this, but it will hurt Hagray"l who is a great Tzaddik."
To his credit, he watched his words, and did not continue the discussion, because he is afraid to say things which will hurt my beliefs, as he put it. We must also commend the media conduct of the Netzach party, who already made available to the media an available and eloquent speaker.
I wanted to know whether they are going to run, for sure.
His answer was positive: "Tomorrow we will submit the list," he promises. He also promises to update the names of the members of the new party.
Amnon Yitzchak expecting 12 mandates
Another curiosity is the party of Rabbi Amnon Yitzchak – 'the power to influence'.
The 'Tishkoret' (translation: lying media) - as he likes to nickname the media - say associates of Rabbi Amnon Yitzhak, that he has the power to rake in at least 12 seats. They just have a hard time explaining where all those hundreds of thousands of voters will come from.
Amnon's men also say that he received the blessing of Hagray"l Steinman in establishing the party, because it anyway turns to a secular audience.
But the household members of Hagray"l vehemently deny such a blessing.
In summary: if indeed besides the six mandates surveys expect for Yahadut Hatorah and Shas -11-14 mandates, if these parties will also receive the mandates they promise - the ultra-Orthodox Judaism will hold a third of the Knesset.
