British police arrested this morning (Monday) a yeshiva student, son of a well known Torah figure in the city in the neighborhood of Stamford Hill.
The yeshiva student travelled with the non Jewish cab driver and on the way an argument between the driver and student arose. During the argument, the passenger grew angry and as a result left the cab and fled to his home, without paying the fare.
Friends of the yeshiva student said that the argument was concerning money, and it is still unknown why the argument rose to high tones.
The driver did not give up and called the police, who arrested the man in his home.
He will most probably be released on bail in the coming hours.
