Religious man from Bnei Brak hit a soccer judge - and was removed from the fields

A religious man, a resident of Bnei Brak, who owns a kiosk in the city, was arrested today (Sunday) by the police after he admitted throwing a lighter at Avichai Moses, while the latter served as a judge during a soccer match between teams Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa last week.

After throwing the lighter at the director, he was injured and required medical treatment.

"I admitted the act," said the kiosk owner at the hearing of his case at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court. "I did not want to hurt anyone, it was nerve of a second, and I'm sorry I did it."

Magistrates Court judge accepted the police request, and removed the lighter thrower from the football courts until the season of 2015.

He was also required to report to the nearest police station house during all his favorite team games - Beitar Jerusalem, besides a full house arrest for five days, signing a self-undertaking and third party guarantee of NIS 5000 each, and a deposit of 2000 NIS.

Beitar Jerusalem group itself has a relatively light sentence: two home games out of Teddy, with an audience.
