Uri Sharon, a 39 year old resident of Elad and father to 3 children, collapsed this morning (Sunday), shortly after 9:00, at his home on Yehuda Hanasi Street.
MDA and Hatzalah Gush Dan forces who reached the scene, started giving him medical treatment, whilst during the treatment Uri z"l lost consciousness-and following an hour of CPR, a doctor unfortunately was required to determine his death. At this time, the reason for his death is unknown.
Aryeh, a medic who reached the scene told B'Chadrei Charedim: "This morning I davened with the deceased at shul. He wished me a good morning. Two hours later, close to 9:00, we were called to his home due to reported seizures.
At first he was fully conscious and communicated with us, but in middle of the treatment his situation deteriorated and he lost consciousness. This is a terrible tragedy for the family."
Shmulik Avraham, a Hatzala medic said: "This man belongs to the national religious community in the city. When I reached the scene he was still partly conscious, and unfortunately in front of our eyes his situation deteriorated. We did our best to save his life and we made lengthy CPR attempts. Hatzalah volunteers from Elad are helping the family prepare for the funereal. This is a terrible tragedy."
ZAKA volunteers were called to the scene. The police released the body for burial.
