Harav Chaim Zeev Kleiner z"l, owner of Optics Kleiner, who supplied the glasses of Hgram"m Shach zt"l, died after years of suffering, aged 66

Baruch Dayan Haemes: On Thursday night, Harav Chaim Zeev Kleiner z"l, owner of Optics 'Kleiner' from Hamedina Square in Tel Aviv, passed away at the age of 66, at the Sheba hospital in Tel Hashomer.

In his last years he suffered harsh and bitter suffering, and always stayed with a smile on his face and did not complain.

The deceased z"l is descendent from the glorious Telz dynasty.

Kleiner prepared glasses for many of Gedolei Yisroel, including Hgram"m Shach zt"l. For decades he would come to his home, and later bought the car of Hgram"m Schach from his driver, Harav Yechezkel Aschaik.

He is survived by his wife, five sons and one daughter, and grandchildren, the eldest of which he had the zchus to see engaged a week ago.

His funeral left of Friday at 11:00 am from his home on 18 Ba'al HaTanya st. in Bnei Barak to Shamgar funeral home on the way to Har Hamenuchos in Jerusalem where he was buried alongside his parents.
