The media in Florida returned to engage in the destiny of the Jewish businessman Guma Aguiar, who disappeared five months ago when he went sailing on his boat. Bill Scherer, attorney of his wife Jamie Aguiar, now raises the possibility that the billionaire staged his own death, and that in fact he is still alive.
According to Scherer, he and his team are researching the fact that Guma's sister, Angelica, recently moved to Holland, where also one of his business partners lives - and speculate that perhaps Guma himself fled to Holland and is living there secretly.
"It could it be a coincidence," the lawyer admitted, but added: "Jamie still hopes we can get information about her husband and find him alive." The attorney claimed that Guma's sisters refused to accept summons to testify about the affair, and said: "We just want to find out what, if anything, they know about the disappearance."
During the trial, Scherer used the GPS data of Aguiar's boat, which he sailed three miles to the east, turned east and suddenly stopped for five minutes, before drifting into the waters. "If we assume Guma Auaiar died within hours after his disappearance," Scherer said to the judge. "We will ignore the facts which clearly show that the incident was staged and that he took the boat out of gear and let her drift."
