The four Shabos detainees- released under restrictive conditions

The four men arrested in demonstrations against Shabbos desecration on Haneviim Street – were released under restrictive conditions.

One of the detainees was released under the consent of the police, already a few hours after Shabbos.

Three other detainees, two adults and one minor, were released today (Sunday) under restrictive conditions. Among other things: exclusion from Haneviim Street for 45 days, and financial guarantees in 1500 shekels to be paid until tomorrow.

One of the detainees is suspected that during the demonstration he struck one of the officers, but despite suspicions he was released.

Attorney Yair Nehorai said in response to B'Chadrei Charedim: "It seems that the conditions and release show that there aren't real allegations against the detainees, we also hope that no indictment will be filed against any of them."

On Shabbos afternoon, hundreds of demonstrators arrived to the corner of Haneviim-Yeshayahu Street in Jerusalem, where they protested against the opening of the Karta parking lot in the city, which has been practiced for more than 3 years. Some demonstrators were suspected of trying to block the road and throwing bottles at police forces, four were arrested. As mentioned, everyone was released.
