The plague of thefts in the city of Bnei Brak is gaining momentum.

It seems that in recent weeks the phenomenon of hacking apartments whose owners are not in them on Shabbos, is increasing: thieves are taking advantage of the fact that people are making Shabbos in their homes or are not at home during meals, break in, steal and damage property.

This Shabbos too, a theft of significant scale in an apartment on Rechov Hashlosha was reported.

According to a complaint filed by the owner of the apartment to the police, ritual objects worth thousands of shekels and cash estimated at 20 thousand shekels were stolen from his apartment.

The police opened an investigation, so far no suspects have been arrested.

Tel Aviv police spokesman, Sami Dezoves, confirmed the details of the complaint.
