• At 15:29 close to Shabbos a 3 year old boy with severe head trauma was brought to MDA station in the town of Rahat. Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated him in a severe condition to the Trauma Unit in Soroka Hospital; the background to the event is unknown.

• On Friday night at 21:20 there was an accident on Route 75 between two vehicles on decline from the valleys gates to the valleys intersection. MDA team gave medical treatment to 3 casualties, including a man of about 30 in serious condition with multi-system injuries, he was anesthetized and ventilated, and two injured, who were taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. On Motzei Shabbos the hospital said that the man, aged 21, of Nazareth died of his wounds.

• yesterday two adults and an underage resident of a village in the Western Galilee were arrested and interrogated, on suspicion of abusing a soldier who is also a resident of one of the villages in Galilee against his service. The three were released by the court under house arrest until Monday.

• In the afternoon (Shabbos) a mobile device was stolen from the hands of a resident of Kiryat Tivon aged 46 by a man who attacked her from behind and fled. Passersby's who saw the robbery chased the robber confronted him and were able to return the device to its owner. The robber was a friend of a man waiting in another vehicle, and the two fled.
