Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, tends to close the main charges in the case of Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, due to insufficient evidence.

Weinstein committed to the High Court that his final decision in the Lieberman case will be in the coming weeks.

The Ministry of Justice refused on Thursday to address the question of the Lieberman file advisor's decision, and said that Weinstein intends to keep within the time limit he set himself in the Advocate High Court notification two weeks ago, and so there is no final decision on the case.

However, it is believed that if there is no surprising change in the situation, and the prosecution will manage to recruit witnesses, the case will be closed.

However, it may be decided to indict him concurrently with related matters.

In April 2011, Weinstein announced his decision to indict Lieberman, subject to a hearing, on charges of fraud and breach of trust, receiving with fraud under severe circumstances, money laundering and harassing a witness.

But the hearing took a long time and ended only this year and in the end it seems Weinstein will change his decision.
