Six people dead during 'Pillar of Defense' military operation: Boris Yarmolnik hy"d

A rocket fired from Gaza exploded yesterday afternoon in the Eshkol Regional Council, injuring four soldiers - one of them critically, another soldier was moderately wounded and two others mildly. They were evacuated by helicopter for medical treatment at Soroka Hospital.
Earlier, the IDF Spokesperson stated that a reserve officer, Lieutenant Boris Yarmolnik, 28, from Netanya, who was critically injured yesterday - died today (Thursday) from his wounds.
In total six Israelis were killed during the past week, including three residents of Nachlas Har Chabad Kiryat Malachi, Mira Scharf hy"d, Aaron Smadja hy"d and Itzik Amsalem hy"d.
Corporal Yosef Partok aged 18 and a resident of Emanuel, was killed the day before (Tuesday) from fire conducted from the Gaza Strip into the Eshkol Regional Council.
A contractor employee of the Defense Ministry, Alian Nabari, a Bedouin resident, was killed (Tuesday) by a rocket whilst performing logistical work south of Be'er Sheva. Two others were mildly injured.
In total 240 people were injured in Israel during the eight days of battle, to varying degrees.
