Phenomenon in Jerusalem: Masked robbers at wigs salons

Phenomenon in Jerusalem: masked men, covering their faces by means of a tzitzis, except the eyes, violently rob wigs salons.

Last night, at 18:40, was another violent robbery at the "Vardit Salon"."Men masked with a tzitzis entered, when all their body movements conveyed aggression and violence, scary red eyes - and closed the door behind them the door of the salon, and started raging, barraging and stealing any wig they could," says the salon owner.

She says, "The robbers know just what to take. The majority of wigs stolen are valued at NIS 8,000 or more per wig. Not to mention wigs of customers stolen."

This is pattern of repetitive action over the last month for at least five times, each time another salon in Jerusalem serving as a target for the robbers.

This week 80 000 NIS worth of stolen wigs were taken from Leah Kate ov Neve Yaakov neighborhood. Two weeks ago the same robbery took place from the salon "Chut Hase'ara". Previously, robberies were carried out in the "World of Wig" salon on Malchei Yisrael street and in "Wig Salon" on Malachi street.

"Warn all the wig makers you know to behave with caution and not leave the door open, unlocked. Absolutely do not open to an unfamiliar person," say the robbed wig dealers.

One of the robbers was caught in security cameras. Anyone who manages to identify him is asked to inform the police as soon as possible. And / or phone: 052-316-26-23.
