The conflict in Jerusalem, on Shmuel Hanavi Street, reached its peak tonight (Monday) and the controversy apartment in the neighborhood was ignited.

The apartment called the disputed apartment or obscene apartment, on Eretz Chafetz Street in Shmuel Hanavi neighborhood in Jerusalem, was set on fire.
Vandals broke into the apartment through the kitchen window and set the apartment on fire. The apartment caught fire and the children staying there were slightly injured.

Yossi Amar, a Hatzalah and fire brigade volunteer said: "we arrived and firefighters removed five children from the apartment, who were slightly injured by smoke inhalation. They did not need to evacuate to hospital."

Neighbors and onlookers gathered at the site, and told rescue and firefighting crews that the house which was set on fire, recently aroused the anger of local residents, and protests were held so that the tenant should leave the area.

Police opened an investigation.
