Six days have passed since the beginning of Operation Pillar of Cloud and the assassination of Ahmed Jabari, so far Israel has not made a ground entry, but the mobilization of thousands of reservists, and the words of the Prime Minister yesterday (Sunday) that the Gaza operation will deepen and expand, indicate that apparently a ground incursion is prominent in the Gaza Strip.

And what does the Israeli public think of it?

First, the public is satisfied with the prime minister and defense minister, a survey by 'Haaretz' and 'Dialogue' points to an increase of about 20% in satisfaction with the pair Bibi - Barak, to a level of 55% and 52% respectively.

However when it comes to a ground operation, only 30% support the approach, 39% prefer to bomb from the air, while 19% want to strive for a ceasefire, 9% did not choose any option and 3% could not answer the question.

It should be noted that the opponents of a ground operation are also many people on the Right, who claim that the IDF should continue with massive aerial bombing and not endanger the lives of its warriors for excess 'purity of arms'.

In general, 84% of the public supported the decision to launch the 'Pillar of Cloud' operation, compared with only 12% opposed. 63% think that the start of the operation has no relation to political motivations of this sort and another, compared to 28% who totally believe in conspiracy.

The most important figure in terms of the defense minister, suggests that 42% of the public want to see him in office for another term. In addition, the last parties survey, Barak crosses the threshold safely.

And the results of the poll: Likud Beiteinu - 41 seats, Labor - 21 semester hours - 12, Yesh Atid - 9, National Union / Jewish Home - 8, United Torah Judaism - 5, Meretz 4, Kadima and Am Shalem - 3, Atzmaut - 2, and 12 seats for Arab parties. 'Otzma Le'yisrael' does not pass the threshold according to the survey.
