British news network BBC apologized to the Chief Rabbi of England, due to embarrassing him on the 'Pillar of Defense' military operation in the Gaza Strip.
Last Friday Britain's Chief Rabbi, Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, spoke at his special corner called "Thoughts for today".
At the end of the program, the program presenter Evan Davis cornered the Rabbi and asked him without preparation, about the violence in Gaza.
The Rabbi, who thought he had finished with the program, began answering him when it was whispered that he was still on air. Rabbi Sacks was embarrassed, quickly ended the conversation and left.
The embarrassing incident has caused tension between the station manager and the chief rabbi and station managers were quick to apologize.
Jewish sources say there is no doubt that the embarrassing incident is further proof of the anti - Israel's station.
At the beginning of 'Pillar of Defense' operation the station released photos of the results of an Israeli attack in Gaza, where wounded Palestinians are seen.
These images sparked outrage among Israeli propaganda officials, who accused the station of cooperating with the Palestinians and vilifying Israel.
