Will Hamas' refusal to accept Israel's conditions for a ceasefire expedite a ground operation in the Gaza Strip?
Deputy of Hamas's political bureau, Musa Abu Marzouk, clarified this evening that his organization refused two conditions for a ceasefire imposed by Israel. In an interview with Al - Arabiya, Abu Marzouk said: "Israel has transmitted two conditions for this ceasefire, but Hamas will not accept these conditions. The conditions Israel has set are: creating a buffer zone and a stop to arms smuggling."
The fifth day of Operation 'Pillar of Cloud' was eventful, with terrorists launching more than 115 rockets into Israeli cities, and on the other side the IDF continues liquidations of assassins and destroying weapons of terrorists.

• A Tel Aviv fire team worked at Wolfson junction, after a car caught fire as a result of shrapnel which fell in the interception over the skies of Tel Aviv.
• In the afternoon, a prayer rally was attended by thousands held at the Western Wall, for the welfare of the soldiers and citizens of Israel. "It is our obligation to strengthen the residents of the South and our hero soldiers with prayers."

• Earlier on, a Grad missile hit a passing vehicle in Ofakim. Four people were injured - two slightly and two badly, among the wounded are parents and child. They were taken to the Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva. A little while earlier another grad hit in Ofakim. A woman was slightly injured.
• In the afternoon, the head of the Hamas rockets array, Yahya A-Bia, was killed, who was responsible for most of the shooting at Israel. Along with him another seven terrorists were killed in the attack. Yesterday the head of Islamic Jihad's rocket array was liquidated.
• Throughout the day, incessant volleys were fired at southern communities, including Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beer Sheva, Be'er Tuvia Regional Council, Yoav Regional Council, the Regional Council Eshkol and more. From midday to 17:00 more than 100 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip.
• In the afternoon, rockets were fired at Sderot, one of the rockets fell in the yard of a house and caused extensive damage, another rocket fell in an open area in the city. There were no casualties.
• At approximately 13:30 a barrage of seven rockets was fired at the city of Be'er Sheva and its surroundings - three of them fell in the city in open areas, except one missile which hit a building and caused damage. There were no casualties.
• At approximately 14:00 a barrage of 20 rockets was fired at the city of Ashdod and its surroundings. Some of the missiles were intercepted by Iron Dome, some fell in open areas. 2 rockets fell in populated areas. One rocket directly hit an 8-storey building, on the 7th and 8th floor. Further damage was in a parking lot between buildings, in both hits there were no casualties. 6 anxiety cases were treated by MDA teams.
