A resident of Beit Shemesh, who belongs to the shawl cult, says: My children were kidnapped today. According to the woman, at about 19 o'clock some of her husband's family came, and took her five children from her apartment, two boys and three girls, despite her strong opposition.
An investigation conducted by B'Chadrei Charedim indicates that for a long time, a debate has been going on between the husband who belongs to well-known Chassidus in Jerusalem, and the wife who belongs to the shawl cult. The two live separately and confront the custody of their children.
The husband, who is keeping away from the extreme community his wife belongs to, wants his children to live with him in Jerusalem.
The debate came to court and is in the hands of the social services. Tonight, according to the mother, some of her husband's relatives came and took the children - against her will.
A family member involved in the story said that the court and social workers will have to intervene on behalf of children.
Jerusalem police spokesman said in response to B'Chadrei Charedim: "This is a dispute between husband and wife. The husband arrived to take the children. The woman tried to resist, but failed and announced that her children were abducted."
