An indictment was filed recently against a resident of Tzefat, for death threats against his future daughter in law, since she originates from Yemen. The police asked the court to stop the defendant until the end of proceedings; as such a man is "capable of carrying out his threat."
As reported in B'Chadrei Charedim, police arrested the defendant, after receiving a complaint about his intentions.
As described in the indictment: "a conversation held between the defendant and a certain Rebbe, the Rebbe asked the defendant:" What will be with the wedding? '. The defendant replied: "is it permissible to kill the bride?'".
According to the indictment, when the Rebbe asked why he wanted to kill the bride - the defendant replied: "Because my son is Ashkenazi and the bride is Yemenite."
Consequently, the Rebbe turned to the police and reported his intentions.
