Gafni at conference of representatives: "We supported Abutbul for one term"

The two main panels in the Conference of Representatives of the Hareidi community representatives, held at the Nir Etzion hotel, discussed education and budgets, with a panel of education held with the participation of Minister Meshulam Nahari, Deputy Education Minister Eliezer Moses and the panel's chairman, Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Yitzchak Pindrus.

The budget panel was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Eli Yishai and Finance Committee chairman MK Moshe Gafni. Chairman of the panel was Bnei Brak Mayor Yaakov Asher, also attended by Modi'in Illit Mayor Yaakov Guterman, chairman of the National Lottery Uzi Dayan, former Cabinet Secretary Ovad Yehezkel, and Rabbi Yitzchak Reich.

During the panel Eli Yishai revealed: "I have an organized work schedule, what am I going to do in the next term. In the role of Minister of the Interior, of course."

Gafni for his part declared at the conference: "We supported Moshe Abutbul for one mayoral term in Beit Shemesh. We have not decided yet what will be in the next term." During the panel Eli Yishai said to Gafni: "In the end will become a Shas MK" - and Gafni replied: "Only if Deri would accept me ..."
