European experts examined the body of Arafat • the family opposes

The Palestinian Authority ordered Russian, Swiss and French experts to remove the body of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's from his grave, it has been reported by the Head of the Authority, Abu Maazan.

"We are currently working with French investigators, Swiss experts and the Russian government," he said in a speech in honor of the eighth anniversary of Arafat's death.

Russian news agency "Novosti" reports that the PA turned to Russia's foreign ministry to please send two Russian experts to participate in the analysis of the body.
Removal of Arafat's remains will be held on November 26.

A group of experts from the Institute of Radio physics in Lausanne, Switzerland has reached the burial place of Arafat.

Recalling, Yasser Arafat, the founder and first president of the Palestinian Authority, died on November 11, 2004 in a military hospital near Paris.
A formal investigation for his death began after channel "Al Jazeera" argued that they found in Arafat's personal items remains of radioactive chemicals.

However the family of Yasser Arafat opposes opening his grave to examine his body despite claims that he was poisoned to death.

Arafat's sister, Khadija, who lives in Gaza, called on the leaders of the Palestinian Authority to find the cause of death and punish those responsible without having to dig the grave.

Also the nephew of Arafat and Fatah member, Nassar Alkidwah, said that there is no need to open the grave, as everyone knows, he claimes, Israel was responsible for his death.
