Radical elements in New York circulated posters today (Sunday) in haredi neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Monsey against Beit Shemesh Mayor Moshe Abutbul, calling for actions of protest against him.

Mayor of Beit Shemesh is expected to arrive on Thursday for a short visit in New York. Abutbul will participate in the Chasidic wedding in Vizhnitz - Vizhnitz Monsey.

And why the attack?

"Abutbul who heads the municipal Zionist town of Beit Shemesh", it says in the posters "is known for his enthusiasm and dancing along with the Zionist impure flag."

He is mentioned as that 'same evil man, who is famous for his cruelty against all that is holy and dear and who only, a month ago destroyed Jewish graves in Beit Shemesh. "And worse: "sent his impure agents" to take down the modesty signs in the Haredi neighborhoods.

It is not yet clear who the source behind the attempt to arouse strife against the mayor is. The Mayor's relationship with the organization Atra Kadisha, who part of the activists reside in the United States - are normal.

In the recent struggle over the graves complexes in his hometown, Abutbul gave in to extremists who surrendered the city and tried not to confront them. But it turns out that giving in did not do much to help him.
