Violent incident in the Bet Yisrael neighborhood in Jerusalem: Three young Breslov Hasidim attacked an Arab taxi driver after signaling him to stop. After the assault, the men fled the scene. The taxi driver called the police, but they couldn’t find the boys, and asked the driver to submit a complaint at the Russian Compound.

The attack occurred at around 14:00, when three youngsters signaled to the Arab taxi driver to stop. When the driver opened the window to find out where their travel destination is - one of them poured a cup of slush into the car - and escaped.

The driver stopped the taxi in the center of the road, and began to chase the youth. Another guy took the opportunity that the taxi driver abandoned his car and smashed the right rear window of the vehicle - and also escaped.

The driver, at a loss, called the police and reported the incident. Police arrived a few minutes after receiving the call had no choice but to keep away the curious group who had gathered around, and asked the driver to drive after them to the police station in the Russian Compound, in order to file a complaint.

A witness says the driver claimed he was injured on his arm as a result of the assault.
