This week Israeli President Shimon Peres and Russian President Vladimir Putin will launch the new Jewish Museum and the first of its kind in central Moscow.

The museum is spread over eight and a half thousand square meters, and invested millions of dollars, with the best refinements in technology, making the museum the first study center of its kind in the world – telling a range of experiences of understanding and feeling, the Creation, the Torah, Temple, many exiles and suffering of the people of Israel throughout history and stories of the devotion of the Jews during the Holocaust and Communism.

At the head of the museum construction are the president of the Association of Russian communities Rabbi Alexander Barda, and chairman of the board of the museum Rabbi Boruch Gorin, who for eight years has overseen the construction, accompanied by a team of first class experts in the world, who produced together, the worlds luxurious and largest creation known to Russian Jewry ever.

A big event will take place next Sunday, a continuation to the opening ceremony - attended by thousands of guests, who will be able to see firsthand the many and amazing exhibits. And later the museum will open its doors to the general public for a fee, which will be open Sunday through Friday afternoon.
