The first study of its kind held by the 'Yifat' Institute requested by the 'New Israel Fund', and published this morning in Ma'ariv, examined 4,000 posts and articles on political and social issues, and discovers shocking data in incitement and racism.

A third of posts contained expressions, hatred and incitement against Arabs, infiltrators, settlers, academics, and of course ... Haredim.

50% of the posts dealing with Arabs contained expressions of hatred towards them, the leftists take a 'place of honor' with 43% of the posts dealing with leftist and contain swearing, especially 'traitors' and 'subversives'. A similar percentage of incitement posts are towards the infiltrators.

Israeli settlers suffer abuse in 32% of related posts; the most common name for them is 'stupid'.

Haredim are 'only' fifth in line, 19% of posts dealing with Haredim are direct or blatant curses against them. Leading derogatory nicknames are 'shirkers', 'disregard the law' and 'useless eaters'.

Academics close the list, with 18% of posts which contain slander, especially those that identify them with left-wing views.
