At 16:27pm it was reported to MDA of Negev district of a motorcycle rider who slipped on the Tel Sheva Road. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical care and removed a man of about 27 in serious condition with a head injury when he sedated and on a respirator to the Soroka Hospital.
• At 19:28 MDA of the Negev district was informed of a fight in Chura. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical care and removed a man of about 45 with light injuries to the extremities to the Soroka Hospital. An hour later, at 20:25 the MDA was informed about another casualty - probably from the same fight. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical treatment and performed CPR on a man of about 30, with a bullet wound in his upper body, and when his pulse returned – took him to Soroka Hospital in a critical condition.
• During a routine patrol of the National Traffic Police Unit of the Sharon on Road 4 (Ruppin intersection to the south), the volunteers noticed a pedestrian leaning on the guard rail on the road and looking totally drunk. When the team went to help him, they saw that he was holding a gun and dismantling it. He said he was walking towards his home in Netanya after finishing his shift at a supermarket nearby. The pedestrian, 30, a resident of Netanya, was detained at the nearby station, and his gun was taken from him.
• At 21:23pm the Yarkon MDA was informed of a young man who was shot near the Shipudei Shemen restaurant in Tira. MDA paramedics provided medical care and evacuated to the Meir hospital a young man of about 20 in critical condition with shooting his upper body, He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Initial investigation indicates that two masked suspects entered the restaurant, shot the diner and fled from the scene.
• On the exit from Highway 6 in Ein Tut interchange in the direction of Elyakim an accident occurred between 3 motorcycles. Two motorcyclists were killed, and the third was evacuated in a harsh condition. An initial investigation found that about 150 bikers left from the land from the center of Israel towards Carmiel. In the road curve near Elyakim, for an unknown reason, a couple who used a motorcycle lost control, hit the rail and were killed. One other biker slowed but not enough to stop - overturned, was seriously injured and evacuated to Rambam Hospital. The fatalities are Liat Gur born in 1971, and Avikam Gur born in 1968, residents of Hod Hasharon. They have two children, aged three and 13 held by the grandmother in Petach Tikva. The Examiners Division of the Northern Region continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
• At 12:34 MDA Gilboa was informed of a forklift which overturned in the village of Reina. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical treatment and performed resuscitation – at end of which they determined the death of a man of about 50. Circumstances of the accident are examined.
• In an enforcement activity of the Tzfat police station a 47-year-old driver from Tzfat was arrested for letting his daughter aged 17 drive his car even though she does not possess a license. The vehicle was disabled and a quick judgment report was held for the two. In addition a 28 year old buggy driver from Tzfat was arrested for driving during disqualification. The driver was brought this evening to court for remand hearing and the buggy was disabled. A resident of Birya, 24-year-old unlicensed driver, was arrested as well. The driver was summoned to a quick hearing and the buggy was disabled. 5 Other buggies were taken off the road for safety failures and were disabled, and 15 reports were given.
• At 15:25 the Sharon MDA was informed of an injured child by a car near the beach in Jiser al-Zarka. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical care and evacuated to the Hillel Yaffe hospital a12 year old boy in critical condition with a head injury and multi-system injury, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The offending driver, 46-year-old resident of the village, was investigated.
• In targeted enforcement activities conducted over the weekend by the traffic department against drivers who endanger road users, 132 drunk drivers were found, 63 vehicles were disabled and 98 driving licenses were disqualified. Three drivers were arrested.
• Three Syrian tanks entered the demilitarized zone in the Golan and took part in fighting against rebel forces. Following entry, the alert level was raised in the Northern Command. In addition, the IDF filed a complaint to the headquarters of the UN forces that enforce the ceasefire.
• Turkish Prime Minister Rajap Tayip Erduan, today demanded Israel lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip as a condition for restoration of relations between Ankara and Jerusalem.
