A survey published today (Thursday) done by the Institute of Geocartography, shows that if the outgoing Minister Moshe Kahlon, will run as head of an independent social party to the 19th Knesset - he would gain 10 seats. According to the survey, Kahlon takes only one seat from Netanyahu's and Lieberman's Halikud Beitenu - 43 seats against the 44 expected for it in case Kahlon will not run.
According to the survey, if Kahlon will run, the Labor Party headed by Shelly Yechimovich will get 16 seats, which means it will lose three seats, Shas under the triangular leadership will lose two seats, and will go down to 12. Yair Lapid's "Yesh Atid" will lose one seat and go down to 13.
The lists Meretz and Yahadut Hatorah are expected to lose half a mandate each.
A study of the blocks shows that such a move by Minister Kahlon may move about five seats from the left-center center to the right block, but this assumption is sure, because the nature of Kahlon's list is not clear.
