The Vizhnitz Rebbe who's visit to New York was delayed due to flights being cancelled following the storm 'Sandy' - will take off tonight to the United States.
The Rebbe left Ben Gurion airport at 12:30 tonight, accompanied by relatives and family. The Rebbe will be staying in New York for two weeks, during which he will attend the wedding of his grandson.
B'Chadrei Charedim learned that the Rebbe was offered to fly out this morning, but the Rebbe rejected the offer because he wanted to daven with this regular minyan, which lasts about an hour and a half.
Meanwhile, during the last two days, while the Rebbe remained in Israel, he arrived unannounced at Torah shiurim in the Yeshiva's, which are held every evening in the Chassidus Beis Medrash, and a visit at the session of the Beis Yisrael and Damesek Eliezer in Bnei Brak.
Rebbe passed between the yeshiva students for more than half an hour and took an interest in what they were learning. The Rebbe expressed his admiration and said that more benches should be added for the learners at the Beit Midrash.
