About to leave Israel - and arrested for breaking into appartment

A young Hasidic man, planned to travel with his family to a wedding in the U.S., but was stopped at passport control • Reason: wanted for questioning on suspicion of broke into apartment during struggle at 'Batei Varsha'

Y, a Gurer chossid, arrived yesterday (Tuesday) at the Ben Guiron airport to leave Israel, and to his surprise - when he reached passport control at the exit of the boundaries of the country – he was arrested.

He was taken to the jail in Jerusalem where he passed last night.

Police, it turns out, they he is suspected of breaking into an apartment not owned by him and causing damage, according to his family on the background of property dispute in Batei Varsha, Jerusalem. Yesterday his arrest was prolonged by 3 days, according to the court's decision.
