In light of the hurricane: The great grandson of the Satmar Rebbe passed away at the age of 16 in New York following an illness. His grandfather, The Chashniver Rebbe arrived at the funeral in a special van.

This evening (Tuesday, Israel time) Shalom Yechezkel Shraga Rubin z"l passed away, son of Rabbi Shlomo Rubin - grandson of the Satmar Rebbe 'Brauch Moshe' zt"l and son of the Chashniver Rebbe, Borough Park, at the tender age of 16, after suffering a terrible illness.
Due to the hurricane, the grandfather of the deceased, the Chashniver Rebbe had to drive from Borough Park to Kiryat Yoel in a special van, which would be able to drive on the closed roads in order to participate in the Levaya.
The Levaya will leave the Satmar Rebbe's home today from 5 Sanz Street in Kiryat Yoel to the cemetery in the city – near the graves of the Satmar Rebbe's – where he will be buried.
